Hollywood Studios
This was Michael's last day at Disney, so we had to make it great. We wore our matching shirts, per his idea, for a second time. A greeter at the gate suggested we head straight to Toy Story Mania to get fast passes, so we did. They were 2 hours out so we went over to Tower of Terror to get fast passes as well. While we waited we did rider swap for Rock-n-Roll Rollercoaster---it is so awesome!! Then we went to Tower of Terror- two times (someone waited with Juel). I think both of these are super fun. During wait time with Juel we ate Mickey Ice Cream and visited a kid station where they could make records with stickers. She was really happy doing this and released about 20 new albums!! Next we went to the Disney Junior Show, toured the Magic of Disney Animation hall, and rode the Voyage of the Little Mermaid. We had lunch at the ABC Commissary, then Michael and Travis took Tyson to the Star Wars ride. Soon it was time for our Toy Story ride. It was so great! Everyone loved it! We had a wardrobe change into cute Toy Story gear and then saw Buzz and Woody (no pictures because of a long line) and met a toy soldier. Next we went to The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow, checked out the arcade at Pizza Planet and it was time for Michael to go home. Travis and the kids left the park to take him to the airport and catch a nap.
Mom and I were freeeee! We rode R-n-R one more time and then headed over to Epcot--with no stroller, no camera, no kids! Although we loved being with the kids all week, it was nice to be able to stroll around the countries taking our time. Our first country was England. (We loved it and were so excited to find out that while we were in England our beloved Leigh Ann got engaged to Matt!! It was such fun news and cool timing because she loves England so much!) Next we looped over to Mexico and rode the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros--corny but so cute!! We rode the Maelstrom in Norway, shopped around in China, browsed through Germany, craved pizza in Italy (sadly no where sold it by the slice), watched a show in Japan, and walked through the gardens in France. It was a super tour of the world! Next we headed over to Mouse Gear where we even saw Santa Claus doing a little Christmas shopping!! Our final ride was Spaceship Earth. I had no clue how cool it would be! Tyson had talked about the "big ball" (he kept saying "I need to go in that ball and buy something beautiful for Juel??), but we had not ridden it the day before. Once I was in I knew he would love it. Travis came to pick mom and I up so I told him to hop out of the car, I got in to drive it around the parking lot while mom and Travis took the kids to ride it. Tyson was so excited he was jumping up and down making this mommy's heart so full! After they finished we picked up a delicious pizza from a nearby Flippers and went home to bed.
Tyson loved directing people that were exiting the ride. He was also very interested in construction sites and how/when the grass got cut. On our first day we found him a hat that says "Mickey's Lawncare Service" with Mickey cutting grass. It is PERFECT for him!!
Tyson was so happy about the Buzz Lightyear. Neither of the kids ever begged to buy things in the gift shop, but we knew he would love this. Juel already had a Minnie that spins/lights up. Both provided lots of entertainment.
LOVE to Infinity and Beyond!!!!
