A Magical Ball

Day 4- July 2, 2013

Epcot

We were really exhausted by day 4. We decided to sleep in and relax a little that morning, especially since we were hoping to see fireworks that evening. It was our day for Epcot ("Epcop" according to Juel, and "The Big Ball" according to Tyson). The boys were excited to show us all of the fun stuff they had already scoped out. We started with getting fast passes to Test Track, where you design your own car and then see how it performs in a variety of road tests. It was an awesome ride! Michael, Travis, Mom and Tyson rode Mission Space. I knew better than to venture on this motion intensive ride. Juel and I visited the character spot and secured fast passes for Soarin', my favorite Epcot ride. Next we had a late lunch at the Coral Reef restaurant (Thanks Courtney). It has huge views of the aquarium from The Seas. During the meal scuba divers feed the fish and you can spot a wide variety of sea creatures. The children really enjoyed seeing it. The meal took a little longer than we would have hoped, considering we had many things left to see at Epcot, but overall we enjoyed it. Next we went to explore The Seas. It is by far the most amazing aquarium I have ever seen. Tyson was thrilled about a whole tank of "Nemos" and Juel liked seeing the dolphins. We also rode Nemo and Friends, which was super cute and went to Turtle Talk With Crush, again awesome. Next we sailed on Living with the Land, where you explore Disney's greenhouse. Michael loved this especially since he has been studying hydroponics and wants an indoor garden. Next we took turns riding Soarin'. It is so much fun! Tyson rode twice and had a great time telling mom and I what we would see (including his house, the ocean-not to be confused with the sea). After this we finally headed to the World Showcase. It was getting late and we knew we could not see everything. We browsed a few places and then scoped out a place for fireworks. Mom and I were disappointed that we did not get to enjoy the countries so we made a plan to revisit the next day. The fireworks were great and relaxing. It was another great day!

I made this little Mickey Button shirt using my Grandma Juel's buttons...special!

My non-picture taking hubs requested these shots...and he wore his Life is Good golf ball shirt!

Dear Disney, we apologize for all of the fingerprints we left behind!!!
