Smith Family Tree: August 2014

ROAD TRIP.....I can't believe I did this. I took the children on a big road trip this summer. First we went to visit the Moores for a few days. Next we stopped by Grandma Abernathy's house. Then we headed to Peachtree City, GA to see Uncle Jeff and family. From there Jennifer and I (along with the kiddos) tagged along with Jeff to Santa Rosa Beach, Florida for a great vacation. After we came back to Georgia, we spent the night then headed home. On the way home we visited Travis' cousin Tori and her triplets. We were gone for 12 days! IT WAS SO FUN! Anyone that knows me well, knows that I hate to drive. However, I did not have any problems at all. It was a great memory with my littles!

First stop...Terrell, NC!

Next stop...Inman, South Carolina!

After leaving the Moore's we headed to Ma's house for lunch.

They loved seeing a homevideo of their daddy when he was a little boy.

Of course Ma had presents and cake!

Next stop...Peachtree City, GA

Both kids were really excited to see their cousins. Tyson and Taylor did a good job sharing toys. Reagan is a great babysitter!

We headed out to see Planes 2....supercute!

Next stop... Santa Rosa Beach, Florida!

We were happy for time to relax, play, and soak in the sun with family.

Tyson spend one day deep sea fishing with Uncle Jeff. They both enjoyed that together.

Juel was so happy when he returned...and they napped!

One night we went to ride go-carts! Whooohooo

On the last night everyone went to a fun restaurant, Angelos. There is a GIANT bull in the front that was the highlight!

We finished the night with Putt-Putt

Next stop...back to GA!

On the way back to Peachtree City we stopped in the town where "Walking Dead" is filmed.

Then as soon as we got to Jeff's house, Tyson was SUPER excited to cut grass. He already had a mental inventory of all of Jeff's lawn care products. He has now decided to ask Santa for a real lawn mower (not a toy) and a wheel barrow like Uncle Jeff's! Oh my little worker man!
