Travel Magic

I was very worried about our travel to and from Disney. Juel does not travel well (whines, screams, talks) and Tyson has recently started to get really car sick. It was not a good combination for the 11 hour trip. We decided to drive at night. Wednesday June 26 Travis went to bed at 6:00 and slept until 1:00 a.m. Then we got the children out of bed, gave them a Dramamine and prayed! They slept the entire night (and so did I). We woke up around 8:00 and were already in St. Augistine, Florida. This was much quicker than intended. We stopped for breakfast and went to a little park with a carosel (they asked if we were at Disney). Since we could not check into a hotel as planned for a break I called our Orlando resort to see if there was a chance we could check in a day early. They said yes, so we drove the remaining 2 hours and started the magic early! The resort was wonderful. Our room was huge with a view of Magic Kingdom fireworks. We had two sides of a unit so we set up the larger side for me, mom, and the children. Michael and Travis made the B side into a man cave-loud freezing cold, loud TV,  beer in the fridge. It was perfect. We went to Downtown Disney to eat at Rain Forest Cafe (super cool) and to shop a little. We also went to the Disney outlet store and to the grocery store. The next day we spent by the pool and resting preparing for our first day at Magic Kingdom. Travis picked Michael up from the airport and the kids asked "where did you park your plane"LOL It was the beginning of a fantastic week...
