Thanksgiving with Family

We spent Thanksgiving Day with my dad's family at Aunt Pat's house. She made everything so nice and even included a special table with treats for the kids. She invited my mom, which was wonderful because we do not get together with her family during holidays anymore. I was thrilled to spend time with my cousin Grayson who was home for the first time in a while. We had laughs with Sarah and Michael in from D.C. and enjoyed seeing Grandma laugh with the children. Of course I always feel the void of missing daddy. For a long time Tyson has been wanting a "grandpa." Recently he has been telling us very elaborate stories about adventures with his Grandpa--that he does not have. Some of the things he tells about seem just like my dad. Perhaps they spend time together in Tyson's dreams!
