Seafood Festival

Morehead City near Atlantic Beach annually hosts the Seafood Festival. Grandma Juel loved attending this with her sisters. This year we were able to use Aunt Tillie's beach condo for a long weekend and took the children to the event, combining nearly all things I love: my babies, the beach, shopping with mom, eating yummy food, and crafts. It was a much needed weekend away. (I have REALLY struggled with school this year. Please please pray that things improve soon.)

Photos in the traditional spot on the porch...now Tyson just says lets go take a picture and walks out there.

At the seafood festival...

Mom wore Grandma Juel's t-shirt and we took pictures in the traditional spot that she and the sisters always stopped to pose.

Waiting in line for a big boy ride!

He was so proud of  for riding this all by himself...just a few times around the track later and he started bawling. It was so pitiful because we could not rescue him! Mom seriously cried!
He loved "driving" the boat!

Baby girl got her first tooth while we were there (my kids are slow to get teeth!!)! All weekend she chewed on this nerf bullet from Tyson's dart gun. We kept singing "all you other kids with the pumped up kicks better run baby run faster than my bullet!"

She makes me so happy!
It was really chilly so we took turns taking Tyson on walks.
I have this picture on my iphone. I constantly look at it just to relive the sweetness of this moment with my boy...
