Pumpkin Patch

 I love going to the pumpkin patch. Now I love it more than ever because I have child that loves "punkins" and Jack-a-nannerns". My good friend from high school's family has fields of pumpkins and gourds. They sell them with the honor system in their side yard. It makes me so happy! The pumkins are the best around town, but they are 1/2 the price of those at the "pumpkin theme parks" (which I love for fun, just not for pumpkins!) Mrs. Belinda is so sweet and always has fun things for the children to play with. She lets us play in the pumpkins as much as we want. You would not believe the haul of fall "goods" (mums, pumpkins, gourds, corn) we carried home. Tyson was so cute this year. As soon as we got out of the car he plopped down by a pumpkin, said mamma take my picture, and ran off. He was done with pictures! I later forced one more but it quickly became dangerous for baby girl! Ha! I guess he remembers that his mommy put him inside one for pictures once! Anyway, we had a wonderful time picking out pumpkins and I just love seeing them on my porch.
