We always hope to spend time with Jeff and his family near holidays. This year we had planned to go to the mountains, but the cabin did not work out as planned. Our "plan b" was beyond fun! We decided to meet at the Great Wolf Lodge in Charlotte. We would be there for Juel's birthday and would be able to visit Ma as well.
We started the trip early Monday by driving to SC to spend some time with grandma. She is such a special lady and I always cherish visits with her.
Ma's little apartment was full of people and love! Jeff, Reagan, Taylor, Aaron, Katrina, and Natalie along with our family were all there for the visit.
I warn Jeff that I am going to take pictures so he may as well smile....oh well!
Later we arrived at Great Wolf Lodge. It is such a fun place, just perfect for children. Our room had a "kid camp" that thrilled T and J! (They had a TV oh my) Travis, Jeff and Aaron were able to watch the Clemson bowl game together while we headed straigtht to the slides! Later that night we enjoyed storytime at the clocktower, followed by SNOW inside and a dance party!
Mom has been dying to go to the GWL for so long. In fact Travis and I even considered taking her there for her birthday! Here she is ready for the fun!!!
